Chiropractic Clinic FAQ

Does a chiropractic adjustment hurt?

No! Typically, the adjustment provides a sense of relief. Adjustments are gentle and always specific to your needs.

Are chiropractic adjustments safe?

For most people, chiropractic adjustments are very safe and effective.

However, certain individuals should not receive chiropractic treatment. This is why it's so important to be evaluated by an experienced chiropractor before beginning care.

How much training do chiropractors have?

Most chiropractors hold an undergraduate degree in pre-med or a science-related discipline. This is usually followed by a chiropractic graduate program that takes 4 years to complete.

All chiropractors must earn a Doctor of Chiropractic degree and be licensed in the state in which they practice.

Do you think chiropractic can cure everything?

No, although chiropractic does improve a wide variety of conditions, we will never claim it as a cure for anything. Chiropractic has three main functions:

  • Restore motion
  • Remove nerve interference
  • Reduce pain

Who can benefit from chiropractic treatment?

You might be surprised to learn that chiropractors can treat much more than just back pain!

Chiropractic care can also help you if you’re experiencing pain in the shoulders, neck, elbows, and feet.

Do you accept insurance?

Yes. At Ireland Clinic of Chiropractic, LLC we participate with most insurance plans and will help you with submitting your claims. We are proud to be preferred providers for Aetna and Premera BlueCross BlueShield.
